Brooklyn Amity School National Art Honor Society students volunteered at the Museum of Modern Art during an art teacher professional development program organized by NYSATA Region 8, supporting workshops focused on process, sustainability, and community-centered art education.
Brooklyn Amity School students planted over 700 trees at Marine Park in partnership with NYC Parks, transforming environmental action into a living artwork. Through handwritten promises to nature from elementary, middle, and high school students, this National Art Honor Society initiative united all age groups in a shared commitment to sustainability, care, and responsibility.
