Brooklyn Amity School's Annual Art Exhibition: A Celebration of Creativity and Talent

On June 13-14, 2023, Brooklyn Amity School came alive with colors, creativity, and artistic brilliance as we hosted our Annual Art Exhibition. This year, the event was a resounding success, showcasing the exceptional talent of our students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

A Showcase of Diverse Artistic Talents

Our students impressed everyone with a wide variety of art forms. The exhibition featured monoprints, paper mache sculptures, wooden sculptures, collages, paintings, drawings, and the captivating water marbling art. Each piece of artwork displayed the unique perspective and creativity of our students, making the exhibition a visual feast for all attendees.

Collaborative Masterpieces

One of the highlights of the event was the large group oil pastels drawing. This collaborative effort brought together students from different grades to create a stunning piece of art that symbolized unity and teamwork. It was heartwarming to see our young artists working together, sharing ideas, and contributing to a common goal.

Promoting Art at Amity

To further promote the importance of art in our school community, the Brooklyn Amity School's National Art Honor Society (NAHS) had a special table at the exhibition. The NAHS recognizes outstanding high school students who have a passion for the visual arts. Members of this prestigious society have the opportunity to engage in advanced art projects, participate in community service through art, and receive special recognition for their artistic achievements.

Supporting the Arts

During the exhibition, we also had a sale of T-shirts and art materials to support our new upcoming art club. The response from students, staff, and parents was overwhelming. The support shown by purchasing these items not only helped fund the new club but also demonstrated the community's commitment to nurturing our young artists and the BAS National Art Honor Society.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the exhibition and supported our students. Your encouragement and enthusiasm make events like these possible and inspire our students to continue exploring their artistic talents. We look forward to seeing you all next year for another celebration of creativity and talent.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. See you next year!
